What We Do

First and foremost, we are a lay service ministry.  Our sole mission and focus is on service to the poor/disenfranchised in urgent/emergent need.  Our charitable organizations donations are used to assist those we serve with minimal operating expenses incurred.

We conduct outreach and provide availability to assist those in need from our parish community and often beyond.  This includes but is not limited to:

Home visits or, for those who are homeless and seeking assistance, in person meetings at the parish
Food pantry operations management, including distribution
Homeless outreach programs
(Joy J // Midnight Run)
Formerly homeless fellowship (Dwelling Place and Kenmore)
Assistance to the homebound with cleaning, paperwork, organization, companionship and more
Visiting those who are ill and assisting them during this time when needed
Quarterly SVDP serves at the Hospitality table after each weekend Mass
And more as the need arises

We provide outreach and financial assistance in the following areas including but not limited to:

Rent (Eviction notice)
Transportation
Utilities
Groceries/Toiletries
Cellular
Homeless Outreach
Medical/Personal Care
And More
